Parker’s Career and Future Goals

The world of professional competition isn’t an easy one. It’s a full-time commitment requiring personal sacrifice and a dedication to preparation. Parker started racing at a young age of four and a half years old, as he wanted to be like his father and grandfathers who also loved racing.
Parker started racing in quarter midgets and after just ten races he picked up his first feature win. Continuing in quarter midgets for a few years, he was able to pick up several feature wins along with three championships. During his last two years in quarter midgets Parker also raced Friday nights in a Jr Champ Kart and an Outlaw Kart picking up more feature wins and a couple championships. During he’s 4th year in quarter midgets we felt the need to start working on the next step in his young career.

In the middle of 2019, Jerry Coons Jr was kind enough to let Parker drive Cale Coons’s Jr Sprint one night at Circus City Speedway. Parker went on to win the feature that first night out in the car and decided the Micro world was his next move. After picking up 19 Jr Sprint wins and a championship in 2020 we made the next step into the full size 600cc micro sprints. Parker has picked up a series championship in a Restricted 600 series (Hoosier Dirt Cup) in 2021 and an Outlaw Non-Wing 600 championship (HART Series) in 2023.
The next step; Tyler Collins was nice enough to give Parker the chance to rent the track out at Brownstown Speedway to do some testing in Tyler’s Crate Late Model at the age of 12. Within just laps Parker took to running very respectable lap times and has decided his new goal is to race late models professionally.

Currently our goal for 2024 is to compete full time again in the micros with the hopes of starting to put together a crate late model program throughout the season. That way hopefully Parker will be able to compete in 2025, if we can come up with funding or a possible ride. Parker’s goal is to continue moving up in motorsports to allow him to race professionally as he gets older.
